The Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe international airport
Your adventure begins in Entebbe .After arrival, proceed to comfortable hotel or lodge and relax to reduce fatigue and help adjust to Africa time before the safari begins. If time allows you can stroll through Entebbe Botanical Gardens and Uganda wildlife education center.
Day 2: Transfer to Murchison falls National Park
After an early breakfast in the morning ,start off your journey to one of Uganda’s largest national park, the journey from Entebbe to Murchison falls national park typically takes 6-7 hours but with scenic stopovers for example Zziwa Rhino sanctuary ,local markets which makes the journey interesting .
Lunch stop in Masindi town at local restaurants’ or hotel before continuing to the park. Drive through rural landscapes, a Villages and farmland toward the park entrance, visit the famous view point where the Nile River squeezes through a narrow gorge and crashes down with immense force .After all that check in at your lodge, freshen up and enjoy the beautiful sunset views
Day 3: Game &Nile Boat drive safari

Day 3 is all about exploring the Nile and wildlife adventure .Very early in morning you get to experience the beautiful sunrise and animals at their most active time for example lions, giraffes ,buffaloes ,Uganda kob ,warthogs ,elephants, and various warthogs ,morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile after enjoying a heavy breakfast while sharing wildlife photos around the lodge.
Afternoon Nile boat safari gets you close to the massive crocodiles, pods of hippos and hundreds of water birds including king fishers without them feeling threatened by your presence. After the boat safari, you can walk to the bottom of the waterfall if the lodge is nearby and experience the Nile’s immense force up close and feel the mist, next is going back to the lodge and relax while watching the sunset over the savannah.
Day 4: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Day four is about a scenic road transfer to Kibale Forest, giving you a chance to enjoy Uganda’s countryside, crater lakes and tea plantations .After early breakfast drive southwest toward kibale forest known as primate capital of the world, there is also a quick photo opportunities at crater lakes and rolling hills. You will have lunch stop to enjoy Uganda’s local foods. You will then proceed with a drive to Kibale Forest arriving in the evening. Check into the lodge, rest or take a short nature walk with a lodge guide. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking &Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable
After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for briefing before the chimpanzee tracking ,Once the chimpanzees are located visitors are allowed to spend one hour observing them in their national natural habitat, watching their social interactions ,feeding behavior ,and playful movements through the forest canopy.
Return to the lodge for refreshment, checkout and depart for Bwindi impenetrable Forest National Park The drive time is approximately 5-6 hours through the scenic Kigezi Highlands often called the Uganda Switzerland of Africa because of its unique landscape and cool climate. The arrival at Bwindi is always in the evening so you have dinner and relax
Day 6:Gorilla Trekking experience at Bwindi impenetrable National Park
Today’s gorilla trekking is a highlight of your entire 7 Days safari. Early today, have your breakfast and with packed lunch transfer to the respective park headquarters where you will registered and briefed on the dos and donts. At 8:00am, begin the hike searching for the endangered mountain gorillas. The actual trek takes between 2 to 6 hours depending on the gorilla location. Once found , you spend one remarkable hour observing them and this is believed to be a life changing experience. After trekking, return back to the lodge to refresh. If time allows, have a community visit to local villages or cultural groups near the park to learn about traditional lifestyles and conservation efforts. Dinner and overnigh at the lodge
