Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Transfer to Kampala

You arrive at Entebbe International Airport and are transferred to Kampala, Uganda’s capital. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a traditional dance performance before dinner and overnight in Kampala.

Day 2: Kampala Cultural Tour – Buganda Heritage

This day is devoted to exploring Kampala’s cultural highlights. You visit the Kasubi Tombs, the Buganda Kingdom palace, Namirembe Cathedral, and craft markets. Along the way, you enjoy traditional Ugandan cuisine and storytelling. Dinner and overnight are in Kampala.

Day 3: Transfer to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After breakfast, you head north to Murchison Falls National Park. En route, you stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you track rhinos on foot. In the evening, you arrive at your lodge along the Nile. Dinner and overnight are in Murchison.

Day 4: Game Drive and Boat Cruise – Bunyoro Cultural Visit

The day begins with a game drive across the northern plains, where elephants, lions, buffaloes, and giraffes are often seen. After lunch, you enjoy a boat cruise on the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls. Later, you transfer to Hoima for a cultural evening with the Bunyoro community, featuring dances and storytelling. Dinner and overnight in Hoima.

Day 5: Transfer to Fort Portal – Toro Kingdom Experience

After breakfast, you drive southwest to Fort Portal, passing tea plantations and crater lakes. On arrival, you visit the Toro Kingdom palace and learn about its traditions and history. Dinner and overnight are at your lodge near Kibale.

Day 6: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale – Bigodi Community Walk

This morning, you track chimpanzees in Kibale Forest, spending time with them in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, you take a cultural walk in Bigodi, guided by local community members who share knowledge of farming, traditional medicine, and crafts. Dinner and overnight near Kibale.

Day 7: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth – Game Drive and Cultural Interaction

After breakfast, you transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On arrival, you enjoy a game drive across the Kasenyi plains. Later, you visit a fishing village along Lake George or the Kazinga Channel, meeting families who share their way of life. Dinner and overnight in Queen Elizabeth.

Day 8: Drive to Bwindi via Ishasha – Batwa Cultural Experience

After breakfast, you drive south through the Ishasha sector, famous for tree-climbing lions, before continuing to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. On arrival, you take part in a Batwa cultural experience, where elders share forest traditions, hunting techniques, music, and dance. Dinner and overnight in Bwindi.

Day 9: Cross to Rwanda – Musanze Cultural Village

This morning, you leave Bwindi and cross into Rwanda through the Cyanika border. By midday, you arrive in Musanze, where you visit the Iby’Iwacu cultural village to learn about Rwandan traditions. The afternoon is filled with dance, drumming, and interactive activities. Dinner and overnight at your lodge near Volcanoes National Park.

Day 10: Transfer to Kigali – City Tour – Departure

After breakfast, you drive to Kigali, Rwanda’s vibrant capital. Depending on your flight schedule, you enjoy a city tour that may include the Kigali Genocide Memorial, local art galleries, and craft markets. Later, you are transferred to Kigali International Airport for your departure.
