Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Your safari begins with a morning pickup in Kampala or Entebbe, followed by a journey southwest toward Bwindi. The road reveals Uganda’s beauty, from green plantations and rolling hills to lively rural markets and homesteads. You pause at the Equator in Kayabwe for photographs before continuing deeper into the highlands. Lunch is taken en route, and by late afternoon, you reach Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After check-in at your lodge, you relax with views of the forest canopy and enjoy dinner before resting for the trekking adventure ahead.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

After breakfast, you head to the park headquarters for a ranger briefing before starting your gorilla trek. The hike takes you through thick vegetation, up and down steep slopes, and across dense undergrowth, with each step bringing you closer to the gorillas. Day 5: Return to Kampala or Entebbe

After breakfast, you check out and begin the return journey toward Kampala or Entebbe. The drive takes you once again through Uganda’s countryside, with a lunch stop along the way and a final chance for photographs at the Equator crossing. By evening, you arrive back in the city for drop-off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your safari.
