Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Kampala City and Buganda Heritage Tour

You arrive at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to Kampala, where your journey begins with a cultural city tour. You visit landmarks such as the Kasubi Tombs, the Buganda Kingdom palace, and cultural markets. In the evening, you enjoy traditional music and dance performances before settling in at your hotel in Kampala.

Day 2: Transfer to Fort Portal – Toro Kingdom Visit

After breakfast, you drive west toward Fort Portal, the seat of the Toro Kingdom. The journey takes you through fertile plantations and rolling hills. Upon arrival, you tour the Toro Kingdom palace and learn about the region’s history. You also have time to explore crater lakes before dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale – Bigodi Community Walk

The day begins with chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest, where you spend an hour observing chimps and other primates. In the afternoon, you take a cultural walk in Bigodi village, guided by local community members who share stories of farming, traditional medicine, and crafts. Dinner and overnight are at your lodge near Kibale.

Day 4: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Evening Game Drive

After breakfast, you leave Fort Portal for Queen Elizabeth National Park. On arrival, you check into your lodge and head out for an evening game drive across the Kasenyi plains. Alongside wildlife, you pass villages where cattle herding and fishing are part of daily life. Dinner and overnight are in the park.

Day 5: Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise – Cultural Interaction

The morning begins with a relaxed game drive, followed by a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. Here, you watch hippos, crocodiles, and elephants while also seeing fishing villages along the banks. In the afternoon, you enjoy a cultural encounter with local communities living near the park, learning about their traditions and way of life. Dinner and overnight are at your lodge.

Day 6: Drive to Bwindi via Ishasha – Batwa Experience

After breakfast, you drive through the Ishasha sector, known for tree-climbing lions, and continue into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. On arrival, you join a Batwa cultural experience, where elders share stories of their forest traditions, hunting skills, and music. Dinner and overnight are at your lodge near Bwindi.

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

This is the highlight of the safari. After breakfast, you report for a ranger briefing and begin your trek into the dense forest. The experience of spending an hour with a gorilla family is unforgettable, as you observe their interactions and daily life. After the trek, you return to your lodge for relaxation. Dinner and overnight in Bwindi.

Day 8: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park – Evening Nature Walk

After breakfast, you leave Bwindi and drive to Lake Mburo National Park. The park is small but rich in wildlife, and upon arrival, you enjoy an evening nature walk with rangers. Along the way, you may encounter zebras, impalas, and elands at close range. Dinner and overnight are at your lodge.

Day 9: Morning Game Drive – Return to Entebbe – Departure

On your final day, you enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Mburo before beginning the return journey to Entebbe. The drive includes a stop at the Equator for photographs and souvenirs. By evening, you arrive in Entebbe for your onward flight, marking the end of your cultural and safari adventure.
