Day 1: Arrival in Kigali – City Tour – Cultural Evening

You arrive at Kigali International Airport, where your driver-guide welcomes you. Depending on your arrival time, you embark on a Kigali city tour, including the Kigali Genocide Memorial, art galleries, and local craft markets. In the evening, enjoy a cultural performance featuring Rwandan music and dance. Dinner and overnight in Kigali.

Day 2: Transfer to Akagera National Park – Evening Game Drive

After breakfast, you set off for Akagera National Park, Rwanda’s only savannah park. On arrival, you enjoy an evening game drive across the rolling plains, with chances to see elephants, giraffes, and antelopes. Dinner and overnight at a lodge inside or near the park.

Day 3: Game Drive & Boat Cruise on Lake Ihema

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park – Cultural Visit

This morning, you set out for gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park, a once-in-a-lifetime experience. After meeting your gorilla family and spending an hour with them, you return to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you visit Iby’Iwacu cultural village to experience Rwandan traditions of music, dance, and storytelling. Dinner and overnight near Volcanoes.

Day 6: Return to Kigali – Departure

After breakfast, you drive back to Kigali. Depending on your flight time, you may enjoy shopping for crafts or more sightseeing before being transferred to Kigali International Airport for your departure.
