Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where you’ll be greeted by your driver-guide. Depending on arrival time, enjoy a short city excursion to the Giraffe Centre or Karen Blixen Museum. Dinner and overnight in Nairobi.

Day 2: Nairobi – Transfer to Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, depart for Amboseli National Park. Arrive in time for lunch, then enjoy an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is famous for its close encounters with elephants and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Overnight in Amboseli.

Day 3: Full-Day Game Drives in Amboseli

Spend the day exploring Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives. Spot elephants, lions, cheetahs, buffalo, and abundant birdlife. Between drives, relax at your lodge and soak in the scenery. Overnight in Amboseli.

Day 4: Amboseli – Transfer to Samburu National Reserve

Drive north toward Samburu National Reserve, a unique semi-arid park. Arrive at your camp in time for lunch and a short rest before an afternoon game drive. Look out for Samburu’s “Special Five”—Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk. Overnight in Samburu.

Day 5: Full-Day Game Drives in Samburu

Enjoy a full day exploring Samburu. Capture rare species alongside elephants and lions. Between drives, visit the lodge’s pool or relax overlooking the Ewaso Nyiro River. Overnight in Samburu.

Day 6: Samburu – Transfer to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After breakfast, travel to Ol Pejeta Conservancy near Mount Kenya. This private conservancy is known for rhino conservation and hosts the only chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya. Afternoon game drive includes opportunities to spot lions, elephants, and rhinos. Overnight at Ol Pejeta.

Day 7: Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Spend the day exploring Ol Pejeta. Highlights include visiting the rhino sanctuary, chimpanzee enclosure, and enjoying game drives across the conservancy. This is one of the best places to see both black and white rhinos in East Africa. Overnight in Ol Pejeta.

Day 8: Ol Pejeta – Transfer to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, drive to the Great Rift Valley and Lake Naivasha. Arrive for lunch at a lakeside lodge. In the afternoon, take a boat ride to see hippos, fish eagles, and kingfishers. Optional guided walk on Crescent Island adds a unique wildlife experience. Overnight at Lake Naivasha.

Day 9: Lake Naivasha – Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park

Travel to Lake Nakuru National Park, famed for its flamingos and rhino sanctuary. Afternoon game drive offers sightings of lions, leopards, giraffes, and abundant birdlife. Dinner and overnight at a lodge overlooking the lake.

Day 10: Lake Nakuru – Transfer to Maasai Mara & Afternoon Game Drive
